Accessibility Statement

Los Archivos | Last updated: February 2026

At Los Archivos, we believe music should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to making our website — including our music downloads, blog content, and collaboration pages — usable by as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability.

Our Commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice control software, or keyboard-only navigation.

What We're Doing

We are actively working to ensure Los Archivos is accessible. Our current efforts include:

  • Using clear, readable fonts and sufficient colour contrast throughout the site.

  • Providing descriptive alt text for images so screen readers can convey visual content.

  • Ensuring all music download links and buttons are clearly labelled and keyboard-navigable.

  • Structuring page content with proper headings so it's easy to navigate with assistive tools.

  • Making our email signup and collaboration contact form as simple and accessible as possible.

  • Avoiding auto-playing audio or video that could be disruptive or inaccessible

Known Limitations

We are a small independent music label and blog. While we are committed to accessibility, we acknowledge that some parts of the site may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are continuously working to improve and welcome any feedback that helps us do better.

Downloadable Music Files

All music available on Los Archivos is offered as free downloads. We aim to clearly label file formats and provide straightforward download links. If you experience any difficulty accessing or downloading content, please reach out, and we'll do our best to help.

Third-Party Content

Some pages on our site may include embedded content from third-party platforms (such as audio players or social media). We do not control the accessibility of these external tools, but we try to choose platforms that support accessible design where possible.

Your Privacy and Accessibility

Our accessibility efforts are designed alongside our commitment to your privacy. We do not collect unnecessary data, and any information gathered through our contact or email signup forms is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You should never need to share more than your name and email address to engage with Los Archivos.

Feedback and Contact

We want to hear from you. If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our site, or if you need content delivered in a different format, please get in touch:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

Los Archivos is a space built for music and community. We want everyone to be able to find, hear, and share in it.
